Bellingham, WA waiting to board ferry to Alaska

Burlington KOA is nice with walking trails, grass, woods, level sites, an indoor pool, wifi, cable....and close to Alaskan ferry port.

Report from my housesitter saying Humpback whales are inside the harbor and in front of house. Yay!!!

Ring-necked pheasant(s) on the barnyard fence and in the pasture with horse. Watch turkeys, doves, magpies, deer and tweety birds.

Am in Florence, MT visiting. 608 miles from Bend. Drove 550 yesterday with overnight near Lolo Pass Hwy 12. Muggy w/ thunder.

The mtns were out in all their snowy glory this weekend: Jefferson, Sisters, Batchelor, Broken Top, Washington, 3 Fingered Jack and Hood.
